Having built up a charismatic identity on Twitter as @FulhamDentist, Dr Sarveen Mann knows what it’s like to speak out; so sharing publicly her experience of working with specialist dental accountant and business advisor, Linda Giles, is straightforward.
Sarveen bought her practice in West London in 2008 and now operates her three surgery clinic with the support of two associates, two therapists and a hygienist. Linda helped negotiate the practice purchase and has been Sarveen’s accountant ever since.
Linda has helped in ways over and above that of ‘just’ an accountant. She is incredible. Her advice is always practical and pragmatic. I can always speak to her if there is anything I need advice on and she explains the complexities of dental accountancy in a calm, easy to understand manner.”
“In my opinion, Linda’s experience with many different practices sets her apart and her advice is always specific to her clients. She takes into account the personality of her client as well as business factors when making suggestions or giving advice.”
More recently, Sarveen needed back surgery, requiring extensive time away from her practice to recover. Linda helped to formulate plans to keep the practice busy so her finances were not adversely affected.
Having the COVID-19 pandemic follow hard on the heels of her time out of the practice has been hugely stressful but with Linda’s ongoing support Sarveen has managed.
“She genuinely cares about her clients and has a wealth of experience of working in the dental profession. I would recommend her highly to dental practices and to individual dentists.”
